Our modern manufacturing plant has advanced machinery for automatic winding, trickle and vacuum pressure impregnation, precise balancing, conveyorized assembly, enclosed painting lines, automatic testing facilities with all components bar coded for tracebility and consistent quality and low production time.
We also have an advanced testing facility for type testing motors which enable us to plot accurate speed torque curves and carry out temperature rise tests and other type tests as per IS/ IEC.
Our manufacturing plant covers a floor area of 1,20,000 sq ft and additional 20,000 sq feet for sales, production, quality, and engineering departments. The assembly lines are configured as lean flow lines to achieve a high throughput.
Trickle and Vacuum Pressure Impregnation
All our stators from frame size 56 to 132 have trickle impregnation with single component resin. This unique process achieves in very high mechanical strength with superior fill of resin between the conductors and results in improved reliability and makes it suitable for use with VFDs.
Stators of 160 frame size and higher are Vacuum pressure impregnated with Class F/H varnish. The superior coverage of varnish possible due to vacuum pressure impregnation results in high insulation resistance and makes our motors for use with VFD without any modification.
Each rotor is dynamically balanced on automatic balancing machines to a 2.5 grade. We have 3 balancing machines with a capability of balancing rotors upto 800 kgs weight.
Winding quality determines the quality of motor more than anything else. We employ automatic coil winding machines, slot insertion, top paper insertion, lacing and our automatic stator testers can detect minute defects between turns and phases. Over hang shaping is carried out using special fixtures which ensure consistent quality.
Lean Assembly lines
Our assembly lines are configured as continuous flow lines which result in minimum manufacturing time. Each motor is tested as per IS using an automatic sequential tester and only the motors with all parameters within the acceptance limits are released for further processes . We also carry out vibration and noise testing of every motor using a vibration signature analysis.
